Office Furniture Upholstery
Choosing the right office furniture upholstery is a little more than just selecting something that fits in with the branding of the company or the look of the office. Like other types of commercial upholstery, it has to do a lot of work and needs to be tough.
Where the furniture is located is one of the first things to consider. If it is used infrequently, then you can afford to go for something a little more luxurious and stylish. But for frequent use furniture, the key is that it is durable and able to withstand constant use.
Sunlight is another consideration. Almost all fabrics fade over time if they are exposed to sunlight so if you need furniture to sit in front of windows, you want to go for something that is the most fade resistant. If you want a specific fabric that will fade, you may need to locate the furniture somewhere else or have a blind to protect it.
Finally, you will also want to consider how to clean the fabric. Some fabrics can be cleaned with water based cleaners while others need a dry cleaning product. It is worth understanding how the fabric will be cleaned and how easy this will be to do before you settle on it.
